Gooseberry Globemallow makes a very tough, flowering groundcover that can reach 10 in. in height.  The flowers are red-orange and start to appear in spring.   Blooming can continue into the summer.  It is drought tolerant and prefers full sun. It tolerates a wide range of soils including alkaline soils.
